Abstract
Psychological consequences of covid-19 on rural women: lessons from the covid-19 epidemic in the field of mental health of rural women head of households in kangavar city
Introduction
Considering the epidemic situation of the Covid-19 virus, the consequences of the spread of this disease, which has affected all aspects of human life and continues. Because the mental health consequences of the pandemic are gendered, and women have been more severely affected by harmful domestic violence and financial harm during COVID-19 than men, scoring more severely on mental health measures. In addition to the effects it had on people's physical health, the corona virus epidemic has left many psychological effects on people's mental health. Among the people exposed to consequences related to the mental health of women heads of rural households. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of identifying the psychological consequences and lessons from the epidemic of this virus.
Methodology:
The present study was conducted with a qualitative approach and phenomenological method, and the sample group consists of 24 female heads of the household, who were selected in a targeted way. The information of this group was collected using a semi-structured interview and was analyzed using the Colaizzi’s method. This method consists of seven steps: 1- In this step, all the descriptions and experiences of the studied society were studied several times in order to empathize with them. Making meanings and trying to reach the specific meaning and concept of each sentence, 4- Clustering each of the formulated meanings and concepts, 5- Combining the results in the form of a comprehensive description of the subject. research case, 6- Formulating a comprehensive description of the subject under study in the form of a real and necessary description, 7- Validating the findings by referring back to the people under study to confirm the findings. In this study, various and clear questions were asked from the subjects from different angles for credibility, and the triangulation method was used in the data analysis stage. In order to be transferable, the strategy of different sources of data collection and analysis was used. In order to verify the findings and ensure the accuracy of the results obtained with the help of the research group, the concepts extracted from the content analysis, reports, manuscripts and research notes were again provided to the research group and finally the research group in the field of how to collect data and how The interpretation and analysis were agreed upon and the necessary feedback from the studied samples of the research in the context of the obtained results shows the reliability of this study.
Results and discussion:
Data analysis led to the identification of 27 primary themes and 8 sub-themes of outcomes, which included 7 main outcomes. The results obtained from identifying the psychological consequences of this disease on the mental health of female heads of households in the studied village showed that mental and emotional problems, reduced quality of work life and job instability, hope, optimism and resilience, self-efficacy and fear of the future are negative and positive consequences in It has been a study community. Therefore, it is necessary to compile lessons in this field in the health system, taking into account all the above cases, with comprehensive pathology in these conditions. In this regard, based on the results obtained from the results and the breakdown and analysis of all the mentioned dimensions and components of these results, comprehensive lessons for the management of these results on the mental health of women heads of rural households for the post-corona sensitive period and even in the event of the emergence of The same is presented in the future.
Conclusion:
The covid-19 epidemic was a challenging time, the consequences of which are still affecting people. Therefore, it is necessary to compile lessons from this epidemic and make greater progress in psychological science in the field of women's mental health.
Lesson 1: Individual and family factors should be the center of attention and consider it as a main factor in planning.
Lesson 2: Psychological interventions based on awareness of mind and thought should appear when these situations arise.
Lesson 3: When fighting diseases, we must think globally.
Lesson 4: We need to improve health literacy and educational information.
Lesson 5: The influence of executive factors should be used in the analysis of public health to address psychosocial problems.
In accordance with the presented lessons necessary to control or manage the psychological consequences on the mental health of women heads of rural households in the post-corona era, things like: creating an organized and coherent system to organize this group of women with mental problems, as a result of this Illness is considered necessary by executive agents in order to familiarize rural women with various types of psychological disorders by including lessons during the virus epidemic in order to cope and turn challenges into opportunities in the post-corona era.
